The Wild Animal Sanctuary

This sanctuary is home to over 450 rescued animals that could’ve been captured and used in the exotic animal trade business.

There are plenty of carnivores at the sanctuary, which is a nonprofit and is the largest in the world. This sanctuary is a great opportunity for the entire family to enjoy and learn from.

These waterfalls are littered with graffiti and thoughtful artwork. This outdoor attraction is a sweet spot for those who would like to take pictures and make memories. While you might not be able to add to the artwork at “Graffiti Falls,” there is still a ton of pre-existing artwork there for you to enjoy already.

Unlike Rainbow Falls, the artwork on these rock formations comes from thousands of years ago of natural influence.

Geological formations that were created by erosion, water, and wind have greatly altered, continue to alter, and create the rocks, which is considered natural psychedelia. Take a look are these rocks, which vary in size and color. Because this precious land is to be preserved, you cannot camp out here, but you can enjoy the beautiful artwork formed by nature.

Canyons of the Ancients

This outdoor attraction is also an outdoor museum, and it has over 6000 archaeological sites.

There are tons of rock formations at this museum with plenty of history. History buffs would love to learn about all there is to offer at the canyons of the ancients. It is also great for those who want to go camping or hiking in secluded ruins. 

Garden of the Gods

These rock formations have such a great red hue and are the most visited attraction in Colorado.

You can try the area by yourself and immerse yourself in the history associated with the Garden of the Gods. You can also go rock climbing or take a simple hike around the grounds. When you visit this site, you’ll see why it is so popular amongst tourists.
