Established in 1935, Valley of Fire is not only the oldest state park in Nevada, it has also contains over 40,000 acres of land for some astounding views.
Perhaps the perfect day trip, when the desert isn’t quite so hot, the Valley of Fire offers some of the most spectacular views Nevada has to offer.
The stunning red sandstone formations throughout the park make for some very memorable scenic hiking.
If you are lucky, you might even get to view Bighorn sheep.
