I’ll be honest, I love eating out. I should probably stay home and eat more often. However, I love trying new places as often as possible. Moreover, I force my girlfriend to try new places with me. Her pain and suffering is for a good cause. At Cantero Brewery though, this wasn’t the case.
Cantero Brewery is a newer establishment that recently opened in Albuquerque that I had found them on Instagram. The presentation of their food on their Instagram genuinely made my mouth water to the point that I made I needed to try it as soon as possible. The decoration is very modern and clean. A great feature about Cantero Brewery is on weekends, the brewery has live music.
We went on a Monday night and it seemed to be slow, which was great because we were able to conversate with the staff a little bit and find out a little bit about the new brewery. The entire staff was super friendly, which made for a pleasant dining experience.
As per usual, I ordered a flight of beers which had two sours, the Cantero Amber, Cantero Brown, Brew-ha-rista, and their IPA. Of the flight, my favorite was the Berry Sour. The flavor was quite exquisite.
For food, we start off with their Chip Trio, and added guacamole. The appetizer has two salsas and chile con queso which is made with white cheese. Of the four dips, my favorite was the queso. For dinner, I ordered their signature Cantero Burger, which is has cheddar cheese, green chile, and bacon. So mouthwatering, that I am salivating as I am writing this. My girlfriend ordered the Ghost Mine Burger, which has ghost pepper jack cheese and tabasco aioli, which she absolutely loved as well.
Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely will be going back soon. Go check out this place out! For information, click here. For their Facebook page, click here
